CPG and Retail Growth in 2020 and 2021

CPG and Retail Growth in 2020 and 2021

Capturing CPG and Retail Growth in 2020 and 2021 Amid a COVID-Altered World

COVID-19 continues to dramatically transform the CPG and retail landscape. E-commerce, dollar and grocery have quickly become the channels of choice for most Americans, shoppers’ average spend per trip has increased by double digits and so has growth for many CPG categories.

At the same time, assortments have fallen across aisles and channels, consumers are noticing the rise in prices (and rigorously comparing them), and there have been new pressures on the supply chain and inventories. All of this is set against increasing cases of the coronavirus and a weakening U.S. economy with growing rates of unemployment.

This webinar shares the scenarios we are most likely to see through the latter half of 2020 and into 2021, and the likely demand by channel so that brands and retailers can better plan and prepare for the changes that are still ahead. The session will include an overview of the latest CPG and retail trends, such as what’s happening in the store and online, as well as consumer sentiment and the various factors businesses must consider that will impact demand.
