Tom joined IRI in 2015 and is responsible for leading our Analytics & Technology team in the UK. His team strive to find the best analytics solutions to deliver high level consultancy, recommendations and forecasting around custom business questions. The team advise on areas including, pricing, promotions, media, ranging and loyalty, servicing a wide range of clients including manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers and media owners/agencies.
Tom has 15 years of experience within analytics and consulting working across all different areas of analytics from leadership and consulting to modelling and solution development. This blend of experience gives Tom a unique ability to drive the development of new analytics methodologies to answer IRI client’s business questions as well as an understanding of how this translates into tactical business actions and overall strategy evolution.
Prior to joining IRI, Tom spent 10 years at Nielsen, working and living in UK, Singapore, South Africa and China where he led the roll-out of analytic solutions across APAC and MEA. Leading regional and global client relationships has allowed Tom to gain a wealth of experience shaping a team to deliver consultancy and insight across all continents in both highly developed and developing markets, with the ability to adjust and develop solutions for these markets.
After returning to the UK to join IRI, Tom located to Berkshire where he lives with his wife and enjoys cooking and watching sports.
