Shea Brings More than 25 Years of Growth Strategy Consulting Experience to IRI

In her new role, Shea will work with partners to advance IRI’s expanding Growth Consulting practice, which is focused on combining IRI granular data and advanced analytics with strategic thinking to identify sustainable and profitable organic and acquisition growth opportunities.

With more than 25 years of growth strategy and due diligence consulting experience for consumer products, retail, manufacturing and private equity industries, Shea has vast expertise in building demand-based growth strategies, leveraging qualitative and quantitative consumer and shopper insights, real-time social media insights and syndicated data.
Before joining IRI, Shea served as president and chief transformation officer of North America for Ipsos, a Paris-based global market research firm. Earlier in her career, Shea co-founded and was the chief executive officer for Griffin Strategic Advisors, an award-winning growth strategy boutique, which was acquired by Acosta. Prior to that, Shea led the global strategy practice at Archstone Consulting, as well as serving as a partner at A.T. Kearney and a principal at The Cambridge Group.

She is also a member of the Economics Club of Chicago and The Chicago Club. She earned both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Business Administration from The University of Chicago.
